“As the dusts settles on our busy Golf Classic, we would like to say a few thank yous.
– to each of our very generous corporate sponsors
– to all the players, families and members who purchased a Tee Box sponsorship.
– to our 40+ teams who gave up their time to play golf on the day.
– to our Golf Classic committee who have been working so hard to pull the day together, led by Camogie Chair Ella Houlihan who put a huge amount of work into this event.
– to the team in Rathcore who were great to work with and had the course looking great.
– to Austin Grogan who managed the team sheet and welcomed all the teams at the 1st tee box, he was ably assisted for the full day by ร“rรกn Devine who was our photographer on the day.
– to Paula Mulligan and Marie Houlihan who managed the check in desk for the full day and gave all the players a great Cappagh welcome!
All the hard work paid off as this important fundraiser was to raise funds for the day to day running costs of the club, overall the final total has resulted in a profit of nearly โ‚ฌ26k with some more money to come in.
Well done to all involved.”
